Paddle Rollers FAQ
What are Paddle Roller Boats?
Our Paddle Roller Boats are hand-powered and float on water. You can navigate them by hand paddling and to turn, just paddle on one side at a time. They can be used in your suitable in-ground pool or we can bring an inflatable pool. We can customize the ride length.
Who Can Ride?
Our Paddle Roller Boats can easily sustain up to 110lbs. in our small-sized boats and up to 180lbs. in our large-sized boats. However, we recommend that only healthy individuals under 180lbs. participate. You must not ride if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, are pregnant, or are undergoing any medical treatment. You must not bring anything sharp onto the Paddle Roller Boats. We do not provide life jackets, so if we are operating in an in-ground pool, we recommend you have a lifeguard or dedicated adult to watch the participants. Our crew will operate the rides.
Where can I do this great activity?
Our Paddle Roller Boats can operate in any suitable in-ground pool that is large enough and safe to operate in. If there is no pool or suitable water mass, don’t worry. We can set up one of our inflatable pools, which are available in sizes ranging from 17’x23’ to up to 23’x29’. All we need is a dedicated electrical outlet (or we can bring a generator) and a suitable water source. We must be set up on a flat, non-abrasive, accessible surface (no sand, gravel, or loose dirt).
What water sources do I need?
If we are providing a pool, you will need at least 2x full pressure hose spigots for a small pool, which takes about 2+ hours to fill. For larger pools, we request a fire hydrant or multiple hose spigots at full pressure, as it will take several hours to fill large pools and so extra charges will also apply. At the end of the event, we will dump the water, but you can request us to pump out most of the water to a drain or a suitable location up to 75ft away.
What are the boat sizes?
• Small Paddle Roller Boats – boats are 50”L x 46”W and can accommodate 1 small child up to 110 lbs.
• Large Paddle Roller Boats – boats are 59”L x 48”W and can accommodate 1-2 riders with combined weight of up to 180lbs.
